Brno, Czechia - They came from all around the world to play minigolf but in the end it was a putter from next door who defended home turf and became the first WMF World Adventure Golf Tour Final champion. After a season of eleven tournaments in ten countries, thirty-five minigolfers who earned their way to the Final through wins and ranking points, descended on the Bowling Brno complex in the week leading up to the tournament to try to master the course and bring home the top prize of 3,000 EUR.

The WAG Tour Final, set to take place at Bowling Brno on April 27 and 28, promises to be an exhilarating event, featuring some of the most accomplished players in the sport.  Bowling Brno will also play host in June to the World Adventure Golf Masters (WAGM) which showcases international talent in country team and individual competitions yearly.

International Women’s Day (IWD), observed on March 8, honors the achievements of women worldwide and advocates for their rights. Originating from early 20th-century suffrage movements, IWD has evolved into a powerful platform for promoting gender equality. From rallies to strikes, women have used IWD to amplify their voices and effect change. 

One such example of amplification comes from Sweden where for nearly three decades the country has come alive in March with a spirited tradition that celebrates women’s camaraderie, skill, and shared passion. This event is none other than the Women’s Five, where women from all walks of life gather to compete, bond, and create lasting memories. The 29th running will be held March 9-10 in Borås.
